Chanel Illuminates the Runway

Check out Karl Lagerfeld’s Fall 2011 Chanel show. He transformed the Grand Palais into his own Place Vendôme, reincarnated as “Coco Vendôme.” With a flick of a switch, neon lights illuminated the venue moments before the show started illuminating a statue of Coco Chanel and the runway.

At the 2011 CFDA Awards, Ashley Olsen wore a custom blue dress by The Row and Mary-Kate Olsen wore a sequin embroidered jacket from the Chanel Paris-Byzance Collection and black skirt by The Row. Both ladies carried handbags from their new collection by The Row.
