Ferragamo - Runway Review
Be it in print form or the literal thing, scarves are breezily becoming a major part of the spring shows. At Ferragamo, where scarf prints are as part of its DNA as the Gancini buckle, creative director Massimiliano Giornetti applied them in elegant, timeless ways—transforming them onto draped and slit gowns that will undoubtedly continue the label’s red carpet success. The use of color was stunning—the reds, fuchsias, turquoise and royal blue—with there being a consistent matchup for day and night. Ferragamo has never been a brand to chase trends, so this collection was particularly refreshing when complemented by the dazzle it presented.
