Today I walked in my exclusive show for Milan Fashion Week - Giorgio Armani. For the second season in a row, Mr. Armani was kind enough to give me the privilege of opening the show, which is such a honor. For Spring/Summer 2012 Mr. Armani was inspired by an under-the-sea world and used aqua shades along with shimmering silvers and golds to portray the beauty of deep sea materials like mother of pearl. As Milan Fashion Week comes to a close, many are asking if I’ll be walking in Paris Fashion Week. The answer is… we shall see! Right now I have to rush back to New York for a very important and exciting job. I know I claim to be “taking my 13th season off,” but actually I’m busy as ever!!

Following is Americana’s “Behind-the-Scenes” video, an insider’s glimpse at Americana’s Fall photo shoot which took place among the bridges, canals and palazzos of Venice. Coco, an accomplished dancer, struts her stuff while top male model Sean Opry does a great job of keeping in step with her.

For a few weeks I’ve been working with Senhoa via email and snail mail on a jewelry line collaboration. Senhoa is a great charity that supports victims of human trafficking in South East Asia by providing income-generating opportunities, social reintegration and programs for self-empowerment. Some of the children they work with are as young as 4 years old.
This weekend I flew to LA to finalize jewelry designs which we hope to have available within a few months. The Jewelry ‘Coco Rocha For Senhoa’ will be made in Cambodia by the older girls in the program, with all proceeds going back into the program. It will be available around the world.
